Guitarras Latinas, or “Latin Guitars” in English, is a lively, 5 man band, which highlights the beautiful music of Latin America. We take folks on a musical “tour” of Latin America. We play a rhythmic ‘Son’ from Cuba, a smooth ‘Bolero’ from Mexico, a playful Colombian ‘Cumbia’, and finish with a warm and sensual ‘Samba’ from Brazil. We also throw in well-known classics, with a Latin touch, such as Jimmy Buffet’s “Margaritaville”, and Santana’s “Oye como Va”.
We start with warm, romantic melodies for cocktails and dining, and finish with lively Latin songs- tunes that leave crowds up on their feet. With beautiful flamenco guitars, spicy castanets and dynamic Latin percussion, we impart the exhilaration of Cuba, Brazil, and Spain- all in one whirlwind performance. Our Bose tower amplification system, takes upminimal space, yet produces a rich, full sound.
