Peru 2025 Update
We had an excellent time spending time with our Sister Cities in Caraz, Peru. Meeting Caraz Peru Mayor Ing. Jose Felipe Espinoza Caballero, Alcalde, Municipalidad Provincial de Huaylas has been an anticipated visit for many years.
Magno Andres Vicuna Rivera, President of Caraz Sister Cities, prior exchange students and their families welcomed us with such excitement and generosity. The culture, food, hospitality and genuine friendships filled our minds and hearts with amazing memories and stories. We also had to stop and visit our Meza Arizona Ave in the downtown area of Caraz.
The itinerary included a warm welcome at the Municipality Gallery of Mayors, welcome dinner at Restaurant Bolivar, Destileria AQARA , visit to the Don Bosco Artisans Jangas, visit to the blueberry fields , visit and day spent at Paron Lake and much more!
Thank you for the amazing cultural trip Caraz! We cant wait to see in Mesa for the Youth Ambassador Exchange in 2025-26!
