Monday, 7/1/19: Family Day
Tuesday, 7/2/19: Welcome Dinner 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Red Mountain Community College; Power/McKellips Roads; catered by Nandos Mexican Restaurant. We would like to have a good size crowd attend to welcome our international students. Let Christine Selman know if you want to attend christineselman@hotmail.com or 480-272-3122.
Wednesday, 7/3/19: Meeting with Mayor John Giles and Council Member Jennifer Duff, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Fry Bread Lunch and welcome from the Tribal Nations Ceremony, 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, 7/4/19: Family Day 4th of July celebrations, no scheduled plans.
Friday, 7/5/19: State Capitol Phoenix City Scape guided Tour, 3:00 p.m. Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies baseball game, 6:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, 7/6 & 7/19: Family Days
Monday, 7/8/19: 2:30 a.m. meet at downtown Mesa Library to load bus; 3:30 a.m. depart Mesa for Disneyland/California. 8:00 a.m., stop for breakfast. 10:00 a.m., arrive Disneyland California Adventure Park. 10:00 p.m., depart park & go to hotel.
Tuesday, 7/9/19: 7:30 – 8:15 a.m., meet in hotel restaurant, eat breakfast, then load bus. 8:30 a.m., drive bus to Huntington Beach. 9:00 a.m., arrive at Huntington Beach. 9:15 a.m. beach time. 12:00 – 1:30 p.m., lunch on pier at Ruby’s Surf City Diner. 2:30 p.m., load up bus. 3:00 p.m., depart California for Arizona. 8:00 p.m., drive through dinner. 10:30 p.m., arrive back at Mesa Library.
Wednesday, 7/10/19: TBD, meeting with Tempe Sister Cities Ambassadors and Mesa Ambassadors.
Thursday, 7/11/19: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, 1345 S. Alma School Road, Mesa 85210.
Friday, 7/12/19: 5:00 a.m., meet at Mesa Library to load van to Sedona; day hike in Sedona. Travel through Bear-Azona. Travel to Williams–Camp Navajo, overnight stay at Camp Navajo.
Saturday, 7/13/19: 8:15 a.m., load up van to Grand Canyon Railway. 9:30 a.m., ride railway to Grand Canyon. 11:45 a.m., arrive at Grand Canyon; 3:30 p.m., depart Grand Canyon; 5:45 p.m., arrive Williams Grand Canyon Depot. 6:15 p.m., dinner at Grand Depot Café. 6:30 p.m., depart Williams for 10:00 p.m. arrival back at Mesa Library.

Wednesday, 7/17/19: 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., BBQ lunch at Waldo’s BBQ and souvenir shopping at Hi-Jolly Gift Shop 4800 E. Main St.
Thursday, 7/18/19: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thanksgiving Farewell Potluck Dinner, location to be determined. We would like to have a good size crowd attend to bid farewell to our international students, and listen to their comments and impressions of their visit here.
